The AH-1Z VIPER is the most recent incarnation of the COBRA series of US Attack helicopters. Developed during the Vietnam War and based on the HUEY engine and rotors. The VIPER is the backbone of attack helicopters of the US Marines. It is a fully marinised version and embark on all US Navy Amphibious carriers. It is also believed to be the front runner is the Australian Army's project to replace the TIGER ARH1. This is a beautiful 1:35 scale kit and is for the intermediate modeller.
